poor fit and flawed

Both the inner and the shawl are very tight. The tutorial video shows the model putting on the shawl so effortlessly. However, I found it difficult putting on the shawl. And there is a 'kink', (not smooth), on the side of the shawl which is visible - where the rubberise part was sewn onto the shawl. Because of this I am not able to use the shawl. I tried to pass on to my sisters, but they rejected the shawl too. The kink at the side is an eye-sore
